Samuel Beckett loved his cousin. Her name was Peggy and she wore green. "Sam" had a lot of paintings but only one nail above his desk. Samuel would rotate his paintings on it (the nail not the desk). He wrote Godot under one with a moon. Samuel's handwriting looked like tiny scrunchy spiders. His mother loved him. People would ask Samuel if he wanted to get a drink and he would say come by anytime. I sit in that bar and write all day. Mel Gussow said sometimes nobody came and then Samuel looked sad. Samuel looked sad a lot so if Mel noticed it especially it must've been bad.
